My path to helping you

Hi, I'm Carol Covelli, a licensed therapist who took a unique turn into becoming a Brainspotting Clarity Coach.

My journey began like many therapists—I started out working in various settings, from community mental health to group practice, and eventually, I established my own private practice. As I expanded my business and honed my skills, I found real joy in reshaping my practice to focus on the clients I was truly passionate about helping.

But as time went on, I felt a pull toward something more.

In recent years, my excitement has shifted toward business scaling and, more specifically, the emotional complexities that come with evolving a business. I began to notice a powerful connection between deep-rooted personal experiences and the way they influence how we operate and grow our businesses. This realization sparked my interest in coaching, but I wasn’t entirely sure what shape my coaching practice should take.

Then, a trusted colleague recommended Brainspotting, and my curiosity was piqued.

Already certified in EMDR, I was eager to explore new, specialized approaches that could add depth to my work. What I didn’t realize at the time was that Brainspotting would become the crucial element I had been searching for—it was the key to creating the kind of coaching practice I had envisioned.

Now, I use Brainspotting to bridge the gap between the professional and emotional realms, offering a coaching experience that goes beyond the surface.

By integrating Brainspotting into my coaching, I’m able to support healthcare and wellness entrepreneurs overcome chronic indecision and gain the clarity they need when scaling their businesses.

Together, we’ll delve into the intricacies of your unique journey, leading you to sustainable growth, empowerment, and the confident scaling of your business.

My approach is all about honoring your story while helping you achieve your professional goals. It’s about making sure that every step forward is aligned with who you are and where you want to go.

About Brainspotting Clarity Coaching

How does Brainspotting clarity coaching work?

Brainspotting isn’t your typical coaching approach—it taps into the latest in neuroscience and psychology to create real, lasting change.

During our Brainspotting sessions, we’ll find a specific eye position, known as a brainspot, that connects to the stress you feel around making decisions. By focusing on this spot, we can explore the deep brain-body connections that are keeping you stuck in indecision, making it tough to move forward and scale your business.

Brainspotting Coaching for Chronic Indecision

If you’ve been feeling paralyzed by indecision or afraid to commit to big business moves, Brainspotting coaching can help. We’ll work together to uncover and release the old patterns and beliefs that are holding you back, ones you might not even realize are there but that show up as hesitation or fear when it’s time to make decisions.

Through Brainspotting, you can experience real breakthroughs—clearing away the fog of indecision and stepping into your full potential as a confident decision-maker.

As a healthcare or wellness entrepreneur, I know you’re aiming to scale your business, but that can feel out of reach when every decision feels overwhelming. Brainspotting coaching offers a straightforward, effective way to break free from the internal barriers that are keeping you stuck, so you can finally move forward with clarity and confidence.

How Do I know if Brainspotting coaching is right for me?

Brainspotting coaching may be right for you if:

  • You’ve tried cognitive-based or task oriented coaching and didn’t find it helpful.

  • You’re interested in coaching that connects the mind and body to access and process your professional challenges.

  • You align with the idea of addressing your decision-related challenges at a deeper level.

  • You see identifying and addressing mental blocks and barriers that may be hindering your performance is a vital component to your professional growth.

  • You see the importance of releasing stored tension and emotional blockages, as a means to increase your resilience and confidence, which can be invaluable when facing future high-pressure decisions when scaling your business.

  • You’re open to the neurobiological approach of Brainspotting to manage your stress more effectively because it connects to the roots of stress and helps you develop healthier coping mechanisms for sustained optimal clarity.

  • You’re seeking to uncover and release your untapped potential by addressing subconscious obstacles in order to pave a pathway for personal and professional growth.

  • You’re looking to access a peak decison-making mindset by addressing psychological barriers so you can increase your confidence, motivation, and a tap into a positive outlook on challenges.

  • You value a holistic approach that considers both the mental and physical aspects of performance that helps to ensure improvements are not only on the surface but deeply ingrained.

Brainspotting coaching may not be right for you if:

  • You prefer a coaching approach other than Brainspotting. It's essential to choose a method that resonates with your beliefs and comfort level.

  • You’re not ready for the introspective nature of Brainspotting coaching. If you aren’t currently prepared or comfortable delving into introspection, this approach may not be suitable at this time.

  • You’re seeking task oriented solutions or a quick fix. Brainspotting is an intrapersonal process that follows the internal readiness of the individual. If you're looking for quick, immediate solutions, you might prefer a different, more action-oriented approach.

  • You’re not open to the Brainspotting process. Brainspotting involves looking at specific points and allowing for the deeper connections that may come up to be processed. If this doesn’t align with you, then Brainspotting clarity coaching may not be suitable.

  • You’re experiencing mental health concerns, a mental health disorder or have an active substance abuse issue for which you are not currently in treatment, or if you are seeking assistance related to a mental health concern or disorder, then a comprehensive mental health treatment plan with a licensed therapist would be more appropriate.

  • If you’re not comfortable with expressing emotions. Brainspotting often involves the expression of emotions during sessions. If you are uncomfortable with or resistant to expressing emotions, this approach may not align with your preferences.

  • Financial or practical constraints. If you are facing financial or practical constraints that limit your ability to engage consistently in Brainspotting sessions, you may want to find a coaching situation that works best with your situation.
